VEAP

VEAP

Food shelf needs continue to increase. Hunger continues to increase.

HUNGER: The physical and mental condition that comes from not eating enough food due to insufficient economic, family or community resources. Hunger exists in families where members take turns eating or eat smaller meals to make food last longer.

YOU can contribute to the VEAP food shelf by donating non-perishable food to the cart in the church Fellowship Hall OR by donating money (please note “VEAP” on the check).

Current VEAP needs include: cream soups, canned meat products, canned pasta, tuna, dry cereal, rice (2 lb bags or smaller), ketchup and mustard, jam and jelly, boxed dinners, dried beans, 100% juice, cake mixes and frosting, coffee and tea, cooking oil, sugar, baby food, baby formula, diapers. You may bring your donations to the grocery cart in the Fellowship Hall.

VEAP is always in need of volunteers, too! Call Krista at 952-888-9616.
