“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble…He says,
“Be still, and know that I am God…” Psalm 45:1, 10

Greeting from the Stewardship Commission!

As we all begin a new and unprecedented step into the unknown, we thought we would reach out to see how everyone is doing with some suggestions on how to spend the next two weeks “sheltered in place.”

Here are the Stewardship Commissions top ten things you can do to keep sane in the next two weeks…

  1. Paint the interior of your house, literally watch it dry.
  2. Go through your old baseball card collection, find a Honus Wagner in mint condition and pay off the Church’s mortgage.
  3. Clean out the closet, that Zoot Suit you have been hanging onto has to be back in style soon.
  4. Keep giving to CCLC.
  5. Get outside! Organize a neighborhood conga line, everyone stands at least eight feet apart as you shake your booty around the block.
  6. Watch Wednesday and Sunday services on the CCLC Web site.
  7. Stay in contact with family and friends on the CCLC Facebook page.
  8. Charcuterie
  9. Check out the new online giving option on the CCLC web site http://www.cclcmn.org/ It is under the Give tab.
  10. Take a deep breath and pray, often.

All kidding aside we are all in this together.  CCLC is not just a brick and mortar building across the street from Dredd Scott Park in Bloomington, MN.  It is a true Community!  In order to keep that Community strong, please feel emboldened to keep our Faith Promises active via any means necessary.  Mail in a donation or use the various online tools at your disposal.

God Bless and stay Safe.
The Stewardship Commission.
